New, relatively cheap digital technology is making music composition and recording techniques increasingly accessible to pupils and teachers within the classroom environment. The Nerve Centre's music education programme offers:

* Intensive training sessions on computer based music composition and recording
* Introductory workshops on DJing and sound mixing
* Tuition in guitar, bass and drums to GCSE and Advanced level
* Short courses on specialist areas such as composing for the screen

A select number of workshops within this programme are available on an outreach basis. Some workshops are funded and these will be made freely available. Non-funded workshops will be costed on the basis of participants, duration and location.
